I have a goal of losing 45 pounds or so in the next 18 months in the hopes of getting pregnant after we find a house. Any one else out there in a similar boat?

I'm not in a similar situation, but I wanted to say good luck to you. It's lovely to see people that want to be as healthy as possible for the baby growing inside of them2

There's a big gap between my first two kids, and it is really awesome. You should get your kid a camera to document his experience of the baby's birth and early days. A couple of my favorite pictures ever were taken by my oldest at the hospital.

One of my main goals through my Ketogenic journey is to get and stay pregnant. I have PCOS, and have lost two pregnancies in the last year. I am hoping through diet and some weight loss that I can get my insulin resistance in check for a good pregnancy! We are actively TTC, so I may not be able to lose all the weight I want to before getting pregnant again, but I can at least know that I am eating in a way that gives me the best chance at maintaining any pregnancy that may occur. I almost immediately become diabetic when I get pregnant, so if I can avoid that I will try my best.2

I have never been pregnant before, however I do wish to avoid complications if possible ( I also have a gun apt for Tuesday)
I am truly sorry for your losses. I hope we both get to where we need. I sent you a friend request so we can do it together:)0 -
Me as well! I have a 22 month old son and I want to lose 40 pounds in the next 8 months so that when we do decide to get pregnant again I hopefully won't end up being overweight again postpartum. Also, I have an open diary!1

You should check out my trainer Mary Bacon's book Pregnant Fit and Fabulous. I will ask whether she can participate on here, but otherwise she's on Facebook, Instagram etc.1

Hello girls! I have a 2 year old and I also want to lose weight for a second pregnancy (35 pounds). I had a very unusual/complicated pregnancy with him and now I really want to be at my goal weight to have a second pregnancy. I'm also 32 and have PCOS so I'm praying that by this time next year I'll have a baby1
