MyFitnessPal does not come with a meal plan.

What are your goals? My meal plan is based on eating foods that I like and that fit my macro and calorie goals. Your needs and likes will be different from mine.

I find it easier to stick with a plan that I created rather than trying to conform to someone else's plan.

You could log what you eat for a couple of weeks and then go back through to find trends and make future plans.

No it just is a way for you to log everything you eat to track calories, as well as macros and a few vitamins & sodium & sugar too. You can adjust the number of meals per day and rename them to match whatever meal plan you do decide to follow or create yourself.

No, it doesn't, and that's exactly why MFP is so great.

You assemble your own meal plan from your own preferences, your own needs, your own schedule and what foods are available to you.

Do you know what "food groups" are? If not, google it. Have some food from every food group every day. Have some food from several food groups for each meal. Log it in your food diary, and hit your calorie goal every day. That's all you have to do. If you feel something is missing - you feel hungry or lethargic or grumpy, and you notice it's getting difficult to stick to your calorie goal - track macros (fat, protein, carbs), and aim to hit those every day too.

No ... this is an international site. The things I can get over here in Australia might not be available wherever you live.

Eat what's available in your area and fits within your calorie limit.

It doesn't, but you might try eatthismuch.com, which generates recipes based on your input about desired calories per day and a number of other preferences.
