Weight loss with injury

I need help!
I had an accident two months ago which caused a bleed on my brain and a sprained groin, I am still not recovered and so I have been unable to excercise for the last 2 months... I've still been logging my calories and although I haven't gained any weight I also haven't lost any weight for the last 2 months and I don't know what to do!
Can anybody offer any advice?

Firstly, I congratulate you. To undergo a sudden change in the amount of exercise that you can do, and not put on weight, is doing well.
Secondly, while your body is repairing, it is particularly important that you get all the necessary nutrients. Since you are logging your intake make sure you monitor all RDAs, not just the calorie total.
How long do the medics predict that you will be unable to exercise? If it is a relatively short time, you might do better to plan to maintain weight and optimise your diet for recovery, and return to training and resume losing weight after that0 -

You don't need exercise to lose weight. All you need is to eat a little less than you burn. But, right now, you shouldn't focus on losing. Your body needs the nutrients to repair.
I knowwwww I understand what you're saying I'm just struggling because I get married in 8 months, haven't bought my dress yet and am 24lbs off my ideal weight so it's stressing me out a little haha!0 -

Thank you
The main thing stopping me from excercise at the moment is the strain in my groin, the doctor referred me for physio but I can't get in until December 15th0 -
Am really sorry to hear that. I'm recovering from a broken leg at the moment, so i'm not able to exercise, so I can imagine how hard it is. Not sure what advise I can give, as I cant get on the scales and see what i've done, but I just try to stick to my calorie allowance and be mindful that I don't go crazy on the snacks0

So sorry to hear this! I am also recovering from an injury, I dislocated my kneecap and tore my meniscus (the ligament that hold your kneecap in place)....from what I've read, if it's true, weight-loss is about 70% diet and 30% diet. I'm still pretty limited on what exercises I can do. My best advice is to drink water and only water (if possible) and to stay on top of eating clean! And congrats on your upcoming wedding!0

Weight loss is 100% calorie deficit. If you are injured, you will have to rely more heavily on diet than exercise. Water is good, no other drinks are "bad" and clean eating has no real meaning.0
