I was just the typical college student. Loved my freedom and liked partying and cafeteria food even more. After a few months the freshmen 15 definitely caught up to me. I am now going into my senior year at college and almost a registered nurse. I made it my goal this year to get healthy and tone up.

here are some pictures to show where I was and how far I've come.

I am currently 5' 7" and 136lbs.

This is me at my heaviest, probably around 150lbs

This is a picture of me recently with my roommates at a party.

You were cute before but good job getting rid of the extra "fun" pounds before you get out of college. You're setting yourself up for a healthy, happy life! Congrats!

Thanks for sharing. I'd love to be at 150, and you did look fine. But best to get off the extra weight now, then you have more years to be slim!

My evil, irrational side says that you really didn't need to lose weight. My evil side would have taken your "fat" body and ate a bacon cheeseburger. Or two.

My more mature and knowledgeable side says that, aside from gym junkies, we could all use a little more healthcare and fitness in our lives. I know the journey can be about more than just weight or looks. Also, just because things look good on the outside doesn't mean everything is great on the inside. I hope your are enjoying your journey to great health and continue to motivate others.
