Plexus slim?

Has anyone had any good results from taking plexus slim along with a low Cal diet and exercise? I keep my Cal intake between 1000 -1200 a day, but I'm starving all the time. Thought plexus might help curb my appitite some.

    You know what helps your appetite is adding black beans to your meals like to a salad or side on your dinner plate will help a lot! High in proteins and fiber...

    I used most of their products religiously for a solid 6mths. the only thing i lost was near $200 a month. Using Plexus was one of the bigger mistakes I've made while trying to lose weight..

    I'd be seriously starving all the time too if i ate 1000-1200 calories a day! Why so low??

    I'm only 5ft tall and weigh 170, 1200 Cal was my recommendation from mfp. I try to stay between 1000/1200.

    it has lots of ingredients that are proven not to do anything,full of caffeine and other things that can react with those with health issues and taking certain meds.not worth taking

    if they gave you 1200 as a goal that means that is what your net should be(after exercise) should not eat lower unless under the care of a dr.

    I had set MFP to loose 2 lbs a week when i started ( again ) and was going over . I reset it to 1.5 lbs a week and it gave me an extra 100 cals or so and that helped alot , I lost some weight and MFP took some calories back but i am used to eating less now so its not as much of a problem

    OP per your stats I ran you have an approximate BMR 1393.. The 1000 - 1200 is way to little. I think you will do much better if you reconsider changing your rate of loss to something more sustainable and it will help immensely with the starving..

    The product you mentioned are no good.. working within the confines of a reasonable calorie deficit and adhering to that deficit will result in weight loss.. those products do nothing to help you achieve better habits and help you with maintaining weight as you get closer and meet your goal....

    I am 5'3" and was miserable on 1200 calories a day! I upped my calories to 1700 and still eat back some of my exercise calories and have lost 37lbs doing so. Play with your calories to see what works for you! As for plexus slim I have not taken it and refuse to spend money on anything "diet". Just eat heathy at a deficit and you will lose weight. Add exercise to strengthen and tone.

    Don't do that to yourself. Eat the 1200.

    Yes, I did.

    If you want to eat more and not be forever hungry and frustrated and at risk of a possible binge, consider changing it to lose 1lb a week, there's an extra 500 calories a day right there. I'd rather lose weight a little slower and be happy and content than white knuckle my way through every day.
    Doing this will be a cheaper, easier and less stressful way than wasting your money on Plexus, which like i said, does squat! I befriended many plexus users while i was on it, and not one of them lost any weight, the only positive testimonies i heard about it was from the "Ambassadors" which would say and do anything to make a buck. Desperate and overweight people are their prime victims and they will tell you whatever you want to hear..

    Girl. You gotta at least do the full 1200. That's already pretty much starving yourself. That's why you're hungry all the time. You could also increase your calories a bit. At least look up "reverse dieting" for when you reach your weight loss goal... your metabolism is going to be so crashed by that point that you can't just go straight back to your maintenance calories or you'll gain a bunch of weight back- you have to very slowly increase calories to let your metabolism catch up.

    Thanks everyone. I uped my Cal to 1300. Feel much better. Tried a sample of plexus and got a very bad headache. So in the trash it went.:)

    1200 is a minimum default based on "I want to lose xx pounds per week," an aggressive weekly weight loss goal = low daily calories. Unless you are elderly you can definitely eat more & still lose weight. Pick a number you can live with for awhile.

    You can do this without supplements!
