Having trouble seeing my weight loss

This is the longest I have ever been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle. After reaching my highest weight to date I knew it was time to make a change. And I have! I have been logging consistently for 75 days now and Either walking or working out 5-6 times a week. I have seen the numbers drop on the scale but when I look in the mirror I can't tell. I have been taking consistent before and after pics but I can't tell from those either. Has anyone else run into this? I know I'm getting healthier and that is the best result I just wish I could SEE the results of my labor!!!8cd0an14txzh.jpg

I want to start off by saying that I do see a difference in your pictures! Great progress!

When first started losing weight I would look in the mirror and all I could see what I have left to lose not how far I have come. Which was pretty negative energy so I decided to not use that as my "progress indicator." I didn't start to see the loss in the mirror until about 30 lbs down but I think that was just my brain not catching up to reality.
I could feel my clothes getting loose so I knew that I was progressing. I also took body measurements twice a month to be able to see my progress in different ways. I didn't get many compliments from the people around me on my weight loss until about 40 lbs lost, and I think that was more or less them being unsure if it would be polite to make a comment.
It helps to focus on the accomplishments you have made so if the mirror is causing you to worry or panic then I suggest that you find another method to measure your progress.
