What are your stats and how much weight do you have to lose? I'm assuming you chose the 2 pounds a week option? You can change that to gain more calories, unless you happen to be shorter and older.

Probably yes. Losing weight is about finding a balance that works for you, and if 1200 isn't sustainable, then it's probably a good idea to adjust it to something you can live with long term.
Assuming you put your goal as -2 pounds a week, I would say that's a pretty steep goal itself, and there's no harm in going for 1.5 or 1 pound a week instead. It gives you more calories to work with, and is overall just a safer way to go while still losing weight. At least in my experience. Again though, knowing your stats would also help.

Yes, increase your calories and see how it goes.

I wouldn't say that walking up 2 flights of stairs 4 times a day makes you moderately active, but 1200 is still quite low even if you're sedentary. What do you weight now? How many calories a day did MFP suggest you eat when you input all your stats?

Describe "moderately active".. What do you do in a day for your work or day to day responsibilities, etc.?

Next after answering this question, did you set MFP for sedentary? How many pounds did you tell MFP to lose each week?
