Ok well I have to admit I'm not new to this site I have been on and off for over a year but now that I'm divorced (process of going though a divorce) I got to get my butt into shape. First off I'm Lauren and I'm 24 years old. I'm from NM but am a former military spouse so I have lived all over the world. Right now I'm in Missouri. I thought since there is alot of changing going on this year not only in my personal life but also changes in our government. I thought this would be a perfect time to focus on me..

So I figured I lose 2 pounds per week starting Jan 1 till May 26 (that would put me 40 lighter and at my weight goal, but I would have to lose atleast 2 pounds per week to reach it) but the first week I didn't lose a single pound! Worked out 6 days a week eat good and healthy. But nothing.. So I did some research and came to the conclusion that if I want to lose this weight (that I have been carrying for over 5 years) and be a hot momma at the pool this summer I was going to need a little extra kick to help me out.

So yes I am a sucker for those ads on tv. I went and got Hydoxcut. OMG I will say that this really does work fast. Yeah there are some down sides to it but I have yet to experience it. The only thing I hate is how big the pills are. But I am slowly getting over that. I have lost 9 pounds in almost 2 weeks. Which is amazing. I do agree you need to do research before starting any diet pill. And I did my research and know that I will have to continue taking this product to maintain my food intake even after I reach my goal. I am fine with that... Its worth the money and me having to take it daily to be healthy and sexy again.

  • I used Hydroxycut twice on deployments in the past... and yes it does work... BUT you can't take those pills forever. They are supposed to only be used for 8-12 weeks and if you continue using them past that point, you can do a lot of damage to your heart and really screw up your metabolism. Also, the weight is easy to put back on once you stop the pills because you don't have the appetite suppression you get on Hydroxycut, nor the boost in energy (that comes from caffeine) to give you the motivation to work out....

I'm only warning you because of personal experience... be careful with Hydroxycut. I nearly passed out a few times because it jacked up my heart rate while I was exercising - past 190-200 BPM, which is pretty dangerous.

And since I'm here, struggling to lose weight, it's pretty obvious that the weight losses I experienced on Hydroxycut didn't stick. You will have to commit to changing your lifestyle if you want that weight loss to last.

    Best of luck.

    Congratulations on your success!! :flowerforyou:

ps.. make sure you drink lots of water while taken Hydroxycut.
  • yes i drink about 6 glasses a day..

to the first responder... thanks for the inport but i have done my research and once your done doing the 8-12 week goal (whatever you choose) then you are suppose to cut down the intake of pills to only 1 a day. compare to the 6 i have to take daily for the 10 week goal i am on.

but again once your goal is over with all you need to do after that is take 1 pill daily to control your hungry and give you extra engery thoughout the day.. but thanks for the input...
  • I had a grandmother who died of congestive heart failure because she used to take so many diet pills as a young woman... she died at a YOUNG 67 years old. Congratulations, but make sure you aren't getting addicted because they can cause problems!
