Star Trek (the newest one) I have seen it and I know what is going to happen but I just get so excited. Also Independence Day, same thing, on the edge of my seat the whole time every time....0

Any movie where the underdog wins. ie Rocky, Remember the TItans. It just gives me this feeling that I can accomplish anything too.0

Seriously, anything w/ gymnastics in it. I used to do gymnastics - got into it shortly after the 1984 Olympics and Mary Lou Retton. I was never fantastic at it, but I loved being strong and flexible and all that stuff. The one with Mitch Gaylord in it...WRETCHEDLY awful movie but again - it was gymnastics - American Anthem, I think? Yeah. Loved it. There was also a made-for-TV thing on Nadia Comanecei (sp?) - I know I saw it around the same time as the '84 summer games. The woman who plays the housekeeper on Two and a Half Men is in it.0

Vision Quest
I had stalled on my martial arts after I got my Black Belt. Saw Vision Quest and sought out another Instructor the next week. Went on to study under him for many years. Been involved now for over 37 years. Teaching, competing, studying. Maybe I would have eventually gotten back to it, but that movie really struck a chord with me for some reason.0 -

Remember the Titans is amazing!! I love all underdog sports themed movies...I end up crying like a baby (Rudy) But, it makes me feel like I need to stop sitting around feeling sorry for myself and get up and do something!!0 -
