what do you do when you just ate breakfast and are still hungry. I've had a cup of coffee and a cup of tea but I still want...and this usually leads me back to the kitchen. What do you do to keep from going back searching for more to eat.?

I had 1/2 grapefruit and 1/2 cup of egg beaters with peppers and onions for breakfast. Any suggestions. Thanks Neva

I try to drink a large glass of ice water before my meal, and sometimes after. That really fills me up and helps me stay on track with my water intake.

if the fruit and eggs aren't cutting it, maybe try oatmeal or a good high fiber cereal?

Maybe just eat a bit more? I know I'm usually 350-400 calories for breakfast. Have a slice of whole grain toast with some almond butter with your breakfast. That would be more filling for me!

I eat a small packet of oatmeal. its only 130 calories, and tends to do the trick. If I'm still hungry, I leave the house. Most times, I have taken in all the nutrition my body needs, and my desire for food either comes from emotion or boredom.

what are egg beaters? maybe your not eating enough at breakfast or the gap between breakfast and lunch is too long. you should try and snack on something inbetween the two.

i have a protein shake for breakfast with half a banana at 7:30 then at 10 i have oatmeal then lunch at 1.

Oatmeal is super filling and good for you!

I also love baked omlettes. It takes a little longer but I throw cooked rice into the mix and find that it makes it much more filling and gives the omlette a better texture.

That sounds like a kinda tiny breakfast to me. I'm usually just under 300 for breakfast, and I use at least 1.5 egg whites, a half serving of cheese, and half a sandwich thin on weekdays (slightly more on weekends). Maybe try adding a bit of healthy fat and protein? Handful of nuts, maybe?
