3rd times the charm

I've downloaded this app like 3 times, it usually helps me but since I am in college it is very hard to track what I eat. Well this year I have my own apartment so I get to cook my own food so I'm going to try this again. I'm in a long term relationship(3.5 years, almost 4) and well, the relationship weight has hit big time. Over the time we've been dating I've gained about 15 lbs on and off. Losing some here and gaining it back there. I just do not like what I see on the mirror anymore and could really use some motivation and help. I want my boyfriend to look at me and say damn. He's a great guy and loves m no matter what but I want to look good for him ( and myself obviously)

Welcome back!
The relationship weight is tough, I've read the more comfortable you become with someone, and happier you are with someone you tend to gain more. My wife and I also love food that is not so good for us. Having an apartment and control over what you are eating is great though, I find that meal prep is the most important thing for me, If I plan every meal/snack throughout my day I stay on track. Trying to wing it while going out or picking up things on the go can be too tempting to make bad choices.
Feel free to add, and good luck!0
