I have blisters on my tailbone. I have been riding for 30 minutes a day which I thought was truly nothing. It has been hurting very badly to stand up off the bike afterward. I had my husband look last night and he said "YOU HAVE BLISTERS, that's enough"

I need to find alternatives for my bike till my tailbone heals back up. Help!

Get a different seat for the bike that doesn't irritate that area.

If they do not go away on their own in about two weeks, I would go see a doctor. It could be a more serious condition called pilonidial cysts.

Gel seats work better than padded seats.

    I love my gel seat.

I am not sure you can change the seat, it is a stationary bike and an older one for that matter. Well padded. Perhaps I could sit on something on top of it.

These could just show up over night?

They do make padded short just for riding. Look at your local bike shops or try going on line.
