Looking for friends and motivation to lose weight and build stamina

Hi,
I need to lose weight, but more importantly, I want to develop stamina. I'm planning a trip in a couple years and I worry that I won't be able to keep up. It's primarily a walking tour. A 17 day walking tour! Maybe we can motivate each other?

    I'm in the same boat. I'm working on a C25K program to get in better shape as well as walking DVD's.

    Hi!!

    I am looking for strength, muscle and lots of stamina because I am planning a major hiking trip also: for me it's Machu Picchu in Peru which is tons of backpacking. I want to make sure I can handle not only how much walking is involved, but also carrying a pack, so I am preparing now. Plan on spending 2 weeks exploring the entire area.

    Motivating each other sounds good!!
