Gettting Back to Me

I'm 61 years old, have 30 pounds to lose to be at my goal weight. Was an awesome athlete in my day. Super proud that I am now power walking 3.5 - 5.5 miles three times a week. It's not hard; feels awesome when I'm done. Do know that I am burning my knee out, but really need to get back ME physically (not just a weight issue). Looking for like-minded friends: male or female to chat/inspire. Local to me would be FAB -- Nice to get out and have coffee with a new friend!

    Feel free to add me as a friend. I'm 60 and had 25 pounds to lose when I started. I've lost 10. I also have a bad knee. Not sure where you are. I'm in Arizona.

    About that knee ... get it looked at. The last thing you need with your current high motivation is to be sidelined with an injury. It might be something as simple as footwear choice.
