So we're moving to Alaska and I'm just wondering if anyone has snow/ice exercise suggestions. I like to run, will I be able to do that? I know I can hike or trail run during the summers, I'm scared of being trapped inside for months at a time, I don't hate the treadmill but it's not my favorite thing to do...

    HI!

Well I live in Alaska, my tips for you, you can run in the summer and spring outside no problem. I know alot of people who still run in the winter and wear ice cleats on their running shoes. I broke a wrist running on ice when I was younger, so in the winter I go the gym or run on my treadmill at home. I did this last year cross country skiing. It will burn quite a few calories. Where are you moving to? Some towns have yoga classes, dance classes, cardio and gyms. I live in Anchorage, there are loads of trails and activities all over here.
