Twinkie ads?

Why would a fitness app that supposed to help me lose weight show an ad for deep fried Twinkies below where I input my food?? Seems a bad choice don't you think?

    The advertisements're based on your search results. Since you're using a website that involves counting food calories, you'll receive advertisements concerning food! If you search for a house, you'll receive home owners insurance advertisements, etc.

    I get dating ads and 'enlarge your manhood' emails. I don't belong to any dating service and don't have a 'manhood' to begin with, forget 'enlarge'. I wonder what are they suggesting

    1st does anyone else, use the device you're using? If so, possibly they're?

    2nd a lot of topics're discussed on this website, that have nothing to do; with fitness/nutrition. So that could be the issue, as well!

    Well, it started before the MFP. Someone suggested that ads' content is related to one's browsing history. I almost never see anything even remotely related, e.g. breast pix (
