yep when you ovulate... And try to enjoy it a lot if you know what i am saying .. and try to enjoy after he enjoys it.0

Look into charting your cycles. www.thebump.com is a great site, but lurk first before you start posting.0
-
Try not to worry too much about it and just have fun! It will happen eventually . Goodluck!0

The book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" is a great resource and very informative about your body and signs of fertility - I highly recommend it!0
-
put a pillow under your bum when you do it! and stay there after for 10 mins!
no hot baths for hubby!
no tight pants of any sort for him also!
no booze or ciggies!
loose weight if you are the female!
folic acid 3 months before hand will also help baby tons!0 -

I had to learn all the tricks of the trade and then later found out we had unexplained infertility. We went with a fertility specialist who was able to help us get pregnant with our twins.
Google online message boards. I found a great one with many other ladies that were trying to get pregnant. They talked about all the different tools to test for your ovulation and get it right.
Good luck!!!0 -
I took my temps and charted like crazy but in the end, needed MA. How long have you been ttc? If it's been more than a year and you are under 30-35, you should see your ob. If you are 30+ and it's been 6 months of trying, see your ob. For some people it doesn't just happen, you might have fertility issues and need to see what they are. Good luck!0

I highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". Lots of good information there.
(Disclaimer, I have never actually been pregnant but I tried for years before adopting so I know a lot about TTC)0 -
Just relax & enjoy it!!! Don't stress yourself out too much trying to get pregnant...sometimes it actually delays it!!! Have fun!!!!0

There are free ovalation predictorsites online like this one babyhopes.com/ovulation-calendar.html how long have you been trying for?0

Lk on te webmd webste...they have an ovulation calendar where it will show you your best ovulation days based on your menstrual cylce...I have 3 kids because of it!0

sorry about the typos...."Look on the..."0

I would say def. clock your cycle. I did that and Bam we got preggo the first month of trying. Many doctors wont look into fertility issues until you have been trying for at least a year. TheBump.com is a great site also i loved Babycenter.com. There are also things out there to help clock your ovulation also. Most pharmacies have these.0

thanks, i was reading on babymed.com and it said no sex 2-3 days before ovulating and the few after0

I got pregnant with my son after doing it the first few days after my period was over (techncally 3 weeks before my period instead of 2).
Side note, people ... Unfortunately it's not always as easy as "just have fun" ... It's weird how some people get pregnant every time they look a a boy and others struggle so much - Good luck. :flowerforyou:0 -
Charting helps you see when you ovulate (not everyone is exactly the same) but it may take a while to see your pattern. If you have iphone I have any app called period tracker lite - you can go back and enter you last few period starting date and it figures out when you are due to start - it also has a calendar that shows when you should be fertile. We took natural family planning (NFP) classes to learn the charting but they also teach you other signs your body gives during ovulation. You may be able to check with your local catholic church to find classes. Our area also has a NFP doctor. Good luck.0

Relax!
We tried for 6 months doing everything "right", including reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertlitly", charting my cycle, taking temp, etc. If someone would have told me to stand on my head 10 minutes and then run around the block counterclockwise, I probably would have done it.
After 6 negative EPTs, we were both frustrated and decided to take a break for a bit. We went out of town to a friend's for a NASCAR race. It was a hot weekend, we were both over heated, a bit tipsy, and exhausted. Long story short, after a romp on an air mattress, 9 months later, Jake was born.0 -

so true, we joke about one friend, that he can inpregnant anyone with in a 10 mile radius!0 -
None of the above worked for us. It took us 8 yrs 5 rounds of FAILED medical intervention, 2 foster kids (that we were blessed to adopt later on) and one BIG Miracle from GOD We went from 0 kids to 3 in just 12 months!! )
Good luck to you and your husband..We've been down that rocky road, and I wish it on NO ONE!0 -
Stop trying! Just have fun and enjoy each other. Seriously we TRIED for two years... then we gave up and three months later baby on board! And then again in eleven months... I guess you can say we figured it out.
Good Luck!!!

I would talk to your doctor about this. My husband and I decided on kids right away after we got married...it took us about a year because I had a miscarriage. So afterwards we had our son...then low and behold had twins about a year or so later. Hopefully it does happen for the both of you, God Bless:flowerforyou:0

Buy an ovulation kit. And yeah, relax.0

I had the same issue for my 2nd one and it happened when we both stopped worrying about it...0

Stress definitely delays it. A friend of mine tried for 2 years and nothing. She trying to get pregnant the "natural" ways, like holistic meds, workshops, etc. Nothing worked. Her and her husband decided to adopt and got a healthy, happy boy!.....and 6 months later she found out she was pregnant! Everyone told her that her body was probably so stressed about wanting a baby that it held her back from becoming pregnant. Once she relaxed, got comfortable, and started enjoying sex she was immediately pregnant.
It will come and I'm sure you will be a great mommy, too!0 -

Great tips here, I did most of them. Also had sex starting 10 days after I got my period everyday for a week. I was extremely lucky and got pregnant first try!
Good luck!0 -
Stressing about doesn't help. I got pregnant exactly 2 wks before my period started. I wasn't even off my pill but for a month w/ last 2 kids. Also take prenatal vitamins now. Healthy eating and decent exercise too will help0

Get drunk and have sex with someone who is of a different race than your husband. According to everything I have learned from daytime TV, this works every time.0
