Did they refer you to a registered dietician? I would go see one.

Avoiding gluten isn't actually that hard anymore since gluten-free has become popular there are lots of non-wheat alternative, and now wheat is on the allergy label which makes it easier to avoid most of the filler gluten.

And it did it again...cutting gluten has dropped my sugar to the 50's

Good news! Meat is gluten free! ;)

I agree with @tcunbeliever though, gluten free isn't too difficult these days, although it can be expensive.

Cutting gluten has been fine other than my sugar bottoming out between 2-4

I'm also keeping my carb intake low, just need a good booster snack for that window

You mean blood sugar? Are you diabetic as well? We just had a co-worker get diagnosed with diabetes, and already was gluten intolerant. She's having to rely heavily on a dietician because she also has food allergies.

That's a symptom of a struggling thyroid - try finding a snack that is also thyroid supportive...like nuts, or fish or seaweed...

I've been checked for diabetes and I'm not but my dad is hypoglycemic...so I thought maybe I was too! I have also been taking thyroid medicine since I was 22. Thyroid disease runs very heavily in my family. It's weird sometimes I've noticed that when I get really stressed or super focused at work it bottoms out which is weird because usually stress can cause your sugar to rise!!!
