Hey, I'm doing a bulk at the moment and would love to have other bulkers as my MFP friends! I sometimes find it hard to bulk and would love some motivation... Women or men... I currently lift 3-4x a week and am aiming for 2,300 calories a day.

Hey there! I'm on week 3 of my first bulk. I started out at close to 1900 calories but didn't gain anything. Each week I've upped the cals and am currently at 2260. I think that's my magic number. I lift 5x/week and add in a second round of legs on back day, since legs/glutes are my main focus. I'll add you!0

I'm not great at defining bulk and cut periods, as I'm just not that disciplined with my eating. But I am currently lifting 2X a week and eating at about 2100-2300 average calories a day. My weight and my lifts are slowly going up right now, so I am, at least by results, bulking at the moment.1

Started a bulk 7 weeks ago. Gaining 0.5 lb per week consistently, eating an average of 2800 cal per day. Up 4 lbs so far, end goal of 13 lb gain. 4 day per week strength program. still doing some cardio becuae i love it, but have cut back to about 25-50% of what I used to do.3

Back on a bulk now going for 85-90kg currently eating 4200-4500cal per day just cut down from 72kg 11-12% body fat to mid 60,s and 4.5% body fat0

I bulked and then failed at cutting...therefore I am bulked for life.6

Petite chick right here been bulking 10 weeks. 2400 cal currently. 6x a week lifting. No cardio. 25years old. Only gained 2.8lbs thus far.0

Dont do cardio for one lol! I would also suggest 1.2-1.6 grams of protein per lbs. Another little trick is to add a banana to your protein shake at an hr before bed or if you can jump start your post sleep cycle do it at 4am. Add good fat as well... Wrap a chicken breast with bacon and assuming as lean as most of you all.... I can see you adding good fats because in ketosis you will burn it anyway. It does sneak some more grams of protein in.
