Should I log tea and coffee? The one time I did, its value was zero. So I'm confused, should I or not necessary?

They only say zero because it has fewer than 5 calories per serving. Some will log it, others don't. If you put any cream or sugar in them, definitely log those at the very least.

This. I always log my coffee (with sugar and half and half) and I only log tea if I add honey to it. Iced tea I drink unsweetened but I sometimes add honey to herbal teas.

My advice would be don't sweat it too much. 5-20 calorie coffee wasn't what made me fat. I log 20 calories for the little amount of 2% milk I use and that's it. I'm not logging Splenda.

I don't log plain, steamed broccoli or a fresh tomato either. Again, those things aren't what made me fat.

If you're not adding anything with calories to it then I wouldn't bother. If you're adding sugar, creamer etc then yes you should log those things.

I log it. Mainly because I drink about 16 oz of tea each time (which does get me to 5 calories) and I use a tsp of sugar and some milk. Do that about 3 times a day. It adds up for me.

I'm logging coffee just as a reminder of how much I drink, as I'm trying to cut down (not weight related). I drink it black so I really don't have to for weight (unless I add Baileys on the weekend). But I keep track of water as well.

I log it. It keeps me in the habit of logging everything that goes in my mouth, plus it's a good way to gauge my caffeine intake.

I drink my tea black, so I don't log it.

I only log what I put in my coffee, not the coffee itself. I never log tea as I drink it unsweetened, hot or iced.

Log the calorie content of what you consume.

As a general rule (for me) I log it all. At this point I am concerned with getting a look at what I am doing and what I need to do, so everything gets logged. That said I don't think I will ever stop logging it because for me the biggest challenge is to stick with it and inconsistency is not in my favor.
