I am looking into getting a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor watch. Do any of you know for sure that it is programmable with your height, weight, age, etc.?

    Don't get it.

Get a bodybugg instead. I wasn't seeing results and so I got the Polar FT7 and STILL didn't see results. I got a bodybugg and am finally seeing results!! The website and the HRM both WAY over estimated my exercise calorie burn!! Now that I know my real daily burn.....I'm losing weight :)

I have had my FT4 for 2 weeks and yes, you can program weight, height and gender into the watch. :) I have found that MFP gave me way more calories than my watch does. I want to go back to not knowing hahahaha
