Ciao from Italy. I am a Canadian living - and eating far too well - in Italy. After a year of pasta, pizza, wine and the scrumptious after dinner drink Limoncello, I can no longer fit into most of my clothes.
I am getting married in Venice at the beginning of May and really want to lose at least 15 pounds by then.
I have started to cut back on portion size and wine but the reality is, wine is a part of life here and I will not be able to cut it out completely.
Would love to hear others success stories. thanks so much Anna

You will do great I have lost 4lbs in just over a week and a half since joining. If you exercise and stick to the calories allowed each day you should do well.
Have a fantastic wedding.
I love limoncello too a lovely drink after an Italian.
Good luck on your weight loss. :flowerforyou:0 -
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
Welcome to THE best site on the web!
Between the easy to use food counter (which by the way is SUCH an eye opener!) and all the wonderfully supportive members, you WILL be able to lose the weight that you want to, AND, it'll "almost" be easy doing it!
I recommend logging ALL your foods BEFORE you have them, rather than later, as it tends to lead to better food choices. (not to mention you'll know if you've got enough numbers left to have a night time snack, like I ALWAYS try to do!) Some people also like to weigh and measure some things, such as meats, rather than just estimating and possibly being WAY off!
Also, drink lots of water, that seems to help alot too. :drinker:
If you want motivation, check out my profile pics, as well as some of the other members, and that'll definitely help you in your quest to lose the weight that you want to!0 -
