I need help. I don't like how I look and feel.

I'd suggest setting your goal to lose 1 LB per month and do exactly as MFP says.1

Write down your goals. Think of the 'why' you want to work on yourself. Set goals. Create a flexible plan and spend some time in the success story section of MFP. More than needing motivation, you will need commitment and dedication. There is no 'end point' to this process. Everyday is a challenge, but you can do it!1

You don't need help.
You need to take action!
You need to make the choice to do what you have to do to change what you don't like.
You already have your motivation, your reason why.
Now just set your calories, log everything you eat, and hit your goals.0
