I rarely eat fish, but tonight I made cod and it was outstanding? Yum!!! What kind of fish do you like and how do you prepare it? I would like to make it a regular on my weekly menu.
Thanks

I love fish too!! I grill or bake salmon. Sometimes I coat it with bread crumbs and parsley :)

I have grilled Salmon on George Foreman grill and it has turned out awesome. Only takes about 4-5 minutes if it's thawed. Really good.

I have also baked fish as well according to what the package has said and it has also turned out good.

I recommend getting the McCormicks seasoning rub for fish to give it some flavor.

I actually fixed Salmon for the first time last night. Very little olive oil, salt and pepper, that's it for me. I did fix hubby some with Pampered Chef Citrus Basil seasoning and it was yummy! Don't be afraid to try something new, I'm not now! lol I am also going to buy the cedar planks that you can cook fish on. Have to research them but pretty sure you can reuse them and put them on the grill and in the oven.....our Fresh Market grocery store has them and I think I have seen them at Lowe's.

Lemon squeezed on it after it's cooked is pretty good too.

I love tilapia! I prepare it on the top of the stove with Pam Cooking Spray w/ Olive Oil or Butter and a tiny bit of water to keep it from sticking. I sprinkle a dash of Accent, Mrs. Dash, garlic powder, etc. It tastes really great and the Pam Cooking Spray has no fat.

We are "new" pescatarians so have been doing a lot of experimenting. Pan fry ( with zero cal cooking spray) , bake, and grill. I did perch last night with one of those seasoning packets made for pork, lol. It turned out really well, my kids loved it!

Do it up the way you would pork or chicken and you'll be okay :)

I like to grill Salmon with some seasoning and lemon juice over a light to med. heat. When salmon is done I add a sprinkle of shredded cheese and a light squeeze of honey over the Salmon.. Yum!

I love tilapia. I rub Old Bay or Lemon Pepper on both sides, cut up a large lemon into thin slices and lay the slices on top of the fillets and then bake at 350 degrees for 15 mins or until flaky.

We like tilapia, and trout. I usually wrap it in foil, with lemon and butter, and dill, and s&p, leave it on the grill for 10-15 minutes, or until it flakes with a fork.

I love, love, love tilapia! I usually make lemon pepper tilapia. All you need is some lemon pepper (usually found in the spice section), your choice of olive oil, and the tilapia! Coat a baking pan with enough olive oil so the tilapia is fully surrounded. Sprinkle on the lemon pepper (I usually use about a quarter teaspoon for two fillets) and bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes or until flaky!

Cod is the only fish that I would eat.

Any time I cook it I wrap it in foil with a pinch of pepper and salt, and a small bit of butter rubbed on it. Then simmer the tightly wrapped foil parcel in water for about 10 minutes. Remove it from the water, unwrap the foil and place it under a grill for a few minutes to finish it off.

being a chef i try to answer the posts on cooking to help you guys out & maybe give you some ideas ,,,would be here all night if i gave you seperate recipes so ill just list what works well with fish ,you can pick out & use which & as many as you want .
cooking is all about experimenting with different flavours & trying to keep the flavours & texture throughout the cooking process .

fish is good with fresh taragon / dill or parsley ,if poss dont waste your time on dried herbs you wont get the flavour release.

can add red onions sliced / shallots ,dash of white wine salt pepper ,carrots ,leeks , brocolli , lemon , lime , spinach leaves accross the top of the fish , rice
i think the best method for home cooking is to place your fish (rinsed with water) on a sheet of tin foil & add your chosen ingredients ,dont forget to season with salt & pepper ,fold up the ends & then roll the sides up so you have them sticking straight up & then holding both sides roll the tinfoil to make a sealed package ,place in a pre heated moderate oven ,not too hot or the fish will stick to the foil & bake like this ,fish does not take long to cook ,to check just unwrap the top & move the middle section of the fish if its in seperate flakes then its ready ,,
cooking it this way means you will not need any butter or oil ,if its cooked at a moderate temp it will not stick & all the juices will stay with your fish
for those who want to make a creamy but low cal sauce ,i have discovered the way to do this ,open one end of your parcel & pour into a small fry pan all the juices ,add 1 dsp for 1 person & so on of half fat single cream & then 2 spoons of natural unsweetened yoghurt ,give a little whisk up with a hand beater & cook on the hob slowley for maybe 2 mins to bring to temperature ,plate up your fish & pour over the sauce
    et voila bon appetite

Here is one I make a lot. You don't have to use Tilapia. You can use any fish.

    Parmesan Herb Baked Tilapia
