I've been doing insanity and need to know how many calories I'm burning. Where can I get a good heart rate monitor that won't cost me an arm and a leg? Other insanity users, what do you do?

I paid around $100 for my hrm at Sports Authority. I bought the Polar FT7. It has a chest strap which is more accurate. I was burning about 300 calories for every 30 minutes of Insanity when I did month 1. I did not complete month 2 so I am not sure what that would have been!

Amazon.com. Mine was on sale for $60 from $120 and it works great. It's an ironman triathlon one

I got one at Wal-Mart for $27... it doesn't have a lot of extra fancy features, but it will show how long you've worked out and calories burned based on your age and HR.. so it does the trick!! Sportline is the brand I purchased. Happy losing!!

Amazon.com. I got my Sportsline for $49 when it normally goes for $89. It has a chest strap and is really accurate. I use it for everything!

Polar FT4 from Big 5... it was on sale for 69.99 down from 89.99. I love it and bought it specifically for Insanity... but I use it for everything else now too. :)
