I generally do not drink my calories, but I enjoy a good cup of eggnog around the holidays. I only drink it once or twice over the holiday season, so I see it as a small treat for myself.

I always drink egg nog so this year I'm going to make sure I have room for a glass on the day we decorate for Christmas, on thanksgiving after dessert and some on Christmas Eve.

Only when I am running. I think it is like 10,000 calories per cup. :)

I did have some Eggnog French Toast Waffles with Maple Syrup today. YUM!

It's a Christmas day tradition. Otherwise I'm not a big fan of it. The texture is just eww :p

Nope, too gross for me. I know a lot of people love it but I just don't get it.

I make homemade egg nog and it's delicious and therefore I don't make it often

I bet I could make a lower calorie egg nog with kefir, nutmeg and stevia.

I absolutely love eggnog, but this year I will probably not have any. Too many calories in a container and Id drink it all WAY too fast.

That gives me an idea. I love eggnog! Alas, I have become increasingly lactose intolerant. I make my own milk kefir (with secondary ferment to reduce the lactose further). I think I may have to experiment. :) Otherwise, there's dairy free recipes on the internet, too.

Maybe that's because you don't put enough Kahlua in it. B)

Yes, yes, yes...for the holidays for sure. If I drink just the egg nog I have to mix it half & half with milk, otherwise it's too sweet. But with Kahlua I might have to go maximum strength.

My husband loves it. He will fit it into his daily calories and macros from now until Christmas.
Sometimes, he mixes it with vanilla protein powder. Sometimes he mixes it with Jack Daniels.

For me, no. I can't even stand the smell.

    Yes, it is delicious.

I don't put alcohol in mine.

There is a local dairy that makes great eggnog and I get a bottle or two of it every year.

I used to make it at Christmas but I realized I only like it cut like half and half with alcohol, so I haven't bothered for a few years. I hate milk so I usually can't get past the mouthfeel unless it's way watered down (or rather, um, boozed down.)

I do make thumbprint cookies with a nutmeg-y custard though and people always say they're eggnog cookies.

Never had it but I do love a Baileys at Christmas! Just as equally high calorie. I will possibly still part-take this festive season!

I love love love egg nog. It's my favorite thing to make/drink in the holiday season. It'll be blowing up my calories this year as well. I will be looking for almond milk varieties or making some myself this year, but it'll still be a lot of calories lol. We make it for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
