What i keep finding in the database seems wrong... i feel stuffed... theres no way a whole deep fried tilapia is only 290 calories, is there?

I kind of feel like logging it as 2 filets or 3 instead...?

Imported bottom feeder, not the best fish to eat, fried or not.

The prepackaged fillets I always buy are ~4-6 ounces. Serving size is 4 ounces @~110 calories. I guess it would be at least that×2 plus any breading and oil.

Its a shame it tastes so good with lime and hot sauce..

I like catfish too. Another bottom feeder. :) My husband and and I eat fish fairly frequently. He works PT for a small company that goes to the coast a few times a week and gets fish straight from the docks to supply farm to table restaurants in our city. Also a couple of Farmers Markets. Sea bass, grouper, tilefish, cobia, oyster, hard and soft shell crabs. It varies. Whatever is in season. He's not so fond of imported tilapia but I like it. Especially blackened.
