So I've really only lost a couple pounds since his family saw me last, so I didn't think much of it. But when I walked in, a bunch of them were like "WHOA! You've lost a ton of weight!" they started to ask me all sorts of questions and everything. So even though I dont see much on the scale, I went down a shirt and pant size. It gets discouraging not seeing much progress on the scale, but if being in great shape, feeling energized and healthier in mind and body is what I get for what I'm doing, then who CARES about the friggin scale darnit! (actually I still care... a lot but just not as much)

Forget the scale! Its the clothing sizes and measurements that count. WAY TO GO! That means you're toning your body and getting into great physical shape, and that's the perfect way to drop the weight and keep it off. CONGRATS :))))

That must feel great. My husband's family (and in no way are they mean to me) are the only ones I know that haven't said one thing. So I either they can't tell, or aren't the kind of people to mention weight-loss.

That is great!! Great job and great attitude you have. Keep up the good work.
Now I wish I could have the attitude that you have about the scale.
I know I am losing inches but I really would like to get the scale to move faster.

I am getting that same reaction from family. I joined a fitness challange class at the Y. The class was 6wks long. My sister asked me how much more weight had I lost. I actually have not lost another pound, but i am down another dress size. It feels good but I really want the scale to move:wink:. I need to adjust my eating. Keep up the good work:happy: !!!!
