Hey everyone! I'm a beginner in this whole food and nutrition and fitness thing. I am a female hockey player but the only training I do is for hockey. I feel really crappy about myself and I'm worried about the upcoming hockey season. I really want to try the insanity or asylum workout. I think that once I see results using these workouts, I'll be super motivated. What are your thoughts on these workout plans and are they effective? Also which one should I do?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have done both. Several times. I personally love asylum. I'm a runner and asylum did wonders for my times. Insanity is great for cardio, but asylum is great cardio but builds on your strength. For playing hockey, I think you would be better off with asylum. You so need to have some level of fitness before you start. I'm doing my millionth round now.0

I am not familiar with either work out but coming from a male hockey player losing 10 pounds or whatever your goal is will make a huge difference on the ice as far as speed and your first few strides0
