Fruit Binge

The last couple days I haven't been able to fill my stomach with enough fruit. Yesterday alone I consumed 2 black plums, 2 peaches, 2 kiwis, 1 mango, and about a pound of red grapes, not to mention quite a bit of vegetables. Basically, a small bowl of cheerios was the only other food I ate. I went over my calories, but decided not to worry about it, since it was all such healthy food. Today when I hopped on the scale, I was shocked to see my lowest weight yet in the morning. And it's been the same all day. What's the deal?

Yes, I also had two homemade sushi rolls during the day, around 250 calories each.

It's normal, I see people constantly posting this time of year about fruit binges. Your body is craving those vitamins it's been deprived of all winter...and now the fruit is fresh and blooming. Fill up, your body wants it!

I get these cravings before TOM , or when I am stressed out. Last week I had a watermelon for dinner.......Just go with it , your body needs it and is healthy .

In the end we are all mammals and have to surrender to mother earth =) This is a normal cycle and with the heat coming on, this is just nature's way of helping cure the thirst while helping you shed the weight.

Me too. In a very out of character way, this morning after waking I had a plum, a mango, a banana, grapes, a kiwi, and just a small scoop of Greek yogurt for breakfast. Definitely something in the water nowadays.

That actually sounds like a pretty good diet! You probably got lots of extra fluid from the juice and very little sodium so the loss have been water weight.
