Muscle vs Fat

It's tough to see the scale go up even though my friends are telling me it's muscle. Such a mental block in my head.

    If you are gaining, it is fat and muscle.

    I am at 188 but have definition now but still feel like I look heavy . It's only been two months in the gym so I need to be patient

    Started lifting two months ago. No weight loss but people tell me I look like I loss more weight. Add me to your friend list if you wany

    Keep working at it and yes, be prepared to be really patient. Make sure you use other tools to track your progress - how your favourite shirt fits, being able to get into jeans that you haven't been able to button for a while, sleeping better, increasing what you lift, a measuring tape etc.

    All of these things are little arrows pointing to the bigger picture so be sure to take notice of them and be encouraged by them.
