Hey!
Does anyone know the nutritional information on gelato? Also, which flavors have the least calories? Our mall just recently opened a Gelato shop and I'm dieinggggg to splurge and get a little one but first i want to find out exactly how many calories and fat its going to cost me! They have all sorts of flavors from chocolate and peanut butter to banana and strawberry. Obviously the fruit flavored ones will have less calories but which one has the very lowest? Thanks for your help!

Did you check to see if they have a nutrition guide. Most places do now. Good luck choosing :)

Can you go to their website and look up the nutrition information? Or maybe just search for a similar gelato shop. A lot of restaurants post their nutrition information now.

Find out if it is cream-based or milk-based. Then you will be able to make a decent estimate based on other gelato makers. For example, Paciugo is milk-based, and they have all their nutrition info on their website.

I know this is probably not the same gelato place that opened up in your mall, but this local place of mine features a nutritional calculator of all their flavors. Perhaps it'll help you with a general idea of the calorie ranges?
