BIG money - what would YOU do?

TAX FREE!?! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!! First of all, I'd give 10 percent to my church, then split the rest with my kids and sisters. With my share I'd pay off all my debts, buy a house and a car and hire a chauffeur. I'd also buy new clothes and some new shoes and purses. I'd use some to help homeless people.
Edited to add I would also buy plenty of silver and gold.0 -
Give part to my family and friends
Donate to charities
Travel
Buy a cottage in Wales and have a small farm.0 -
Donate to a group I love that works with Haiti (and the money goes somewhere worthwhile!) Pay off my college loans, my sisters' college loans, buy a car, finish paying off the family farm and then renovate the farm house especially with new kitchen stuff/appliances and what not. Get awesome running shoes. ANNNND, I'd probably donate a hunk of change to Best Friend's Animal Rescue. And with the money left? I don't know, more charities, helping out my family/community...investing. I think I'd start a gluten/soy/dairy free bakery with my mom. We'd rock that.0

Open my own smut shop, start a cult, take over the world0

Buy a nice house, not a mansion but 4-5 bed rooms, buy houses or pay off houses for immediate family members Also set up accounts for family memebers that gives them sufficient interest to live on. Invest some, buy land......and relax. I would also set up an account that's interest goes to charity so that even after I die, some one still gets it. Did I mention relax. AND NEVER WORK IN THE YARD AGAIN.0

Buy MFP and kick All HATERS, FAKERS, general bum wipes off and back on to Facebook where they belong and where they can spread their *kitten* in one place and keep MFP for a little light fun and people who want to get fit and eat well0

^^ Me regarding work ^^0 -
All of the above. Then I'd make Mike an offer on MFP. Would want to stay in touch with everyone!0

Donate a big portion of it to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for Children in Boston and Project AIDS. Build a big house so my daughter and grandson could move in with me. Open up a little bed & breakfast in Bar Harbor, ME. Continue to be a philanthropist and help those who need the help most. I dont need a new fancy car or any big boy toys. Just want to leave a legacy when I'm gone that will continue to give long after I'm gone.0

Shove it all in a normal savings account and wonder what to do with the approx £9000 interest PER DAY I'd receive.0

I would open my own private training facility so I could help others with their fitness goals and not have to charge them an arm and a leg like most gym's do. I'd probably also buy some land where I can house an animal rescue. That's about it besides the typical stuff like pay off the house, get a newer car and take a little vacation!0
-
I'd pay off my house! I'm in foreclosure, ick. Then...I'd take a vacation...and donate the rest. I don't need a ton of cash...others need it much more than I do.0
-
I would pay off the house, clear debt, finally plan my wedding, help some family out and certain charities then I'd travel the world!!! Experience life and culture.. oh and buy some more kick *kitten* shoes!!!0
-
Pay off any debts, help my family out, move to a bigger house away from the area, set up trusts for the kids, keep enough to live comfortably and give a huge chunk to charity, animal and kids charities.0
-
run away!0

I would quit my job and probably graduate college just to say I did. Then I would travel everywhere and take an extended vacation where I could surf and workout all day. Then I would save the rest lol, I wouldn't buy a huge house or nice cars, but save for my kids, grandkids, etc.0

My wife (who started this thread) has answered some of the things I'd do with her. I'd get myself an Aston Martin, and a few classic cars. I'd learn to fly. Have a nice house with a gym and pool. See the world and ease a lot of pain.
And destroy the life of one person....
Lottery wins are tax free in Canada too btw.0 -

Students loans, a house and a well deserved trip to New Zealand (lived there for 2 months. Miss it everyday) then save the rest for future children and vacations0
-
Hmmm.... I guess I would try to learn all the things I wanted to learn.. painting for starters Till I find what I absolutely love.... Since I would not have to worry about my regular expenses... I would start a charity myself, so I can keep a check on where the money is being spent.. Help people who want to study and don't have the money, especially girl children. .................. aaah! It will never happen though...0
