Just wondering, my goal weight is 195-205 pounds and i just wanted to know, what sizes of shirts and pants/jeans does a guy that is 5'9 and 195 pound wear because i was thinking about shopping ahead and it would keep me motivated in a way. Kind of wishful thinking. I would really appreciate it!!!

I've currently just hit that 195lb mark, and am 5'9 as well.
I wear XL shirts, and size 36 pants/shorts right now.0 -
My brother wears 34-36 and he is that tall and weighs 1900

what i do is get something the next size down rather than several that way it's not a goal a mile away!
goood luck x0 -
Thanks for the answers guys......0

It kind of depends on where you shop, how you like your clothes to fit, what styles you buy.....etc.
What I would do if I were you, is every time you hit a mini goal, go to a store that you love the styles in but never thought you'd look good in (maybe you have this, maybe you don't - for my boyfriend its the Ermengildo Zegna store and for me right now I think its Ted Baker so if I DON'T do this I wouldn't be able to afford anything there anyway, cough) and buy yourself a 25 dollar gift certificate (or whatever amount makes sense to you).
Tape it to your door/wall/fridge/whatever. Do it again when you hit another mini goal. Space it out so that by the time you hit your "Buy new clothes" goal, you can buy that one sweet item (or more!).
I went to peek at your profile and you're in college so I assume you'll want to scale down the costliness a bit - do it in 5 or 10 dollar increments, pick a place that sells great dress shirts for going out in (wait you can't even go to a bar or club for 2 more years....... damn... being underaged sucks) or whatever you might like. Heck buy yourself cards for your favorite department store or big box store.
I recommend you DON'T Buy the clothes yet - even if you THINK you know what clothes you'd like to wear, those styles may not even look as good on you when you are thinner. Or you might feel now like you'd NEVER wear one of those tight thin tshirts....but you could change your mind when you get there.
I think its easier for most girls - we all have a pair of skinny jeans that don't fit yet.0 -

That's why my current goal is to drop a dress size, cos then I'll be the same as my sis and I can raid her wardrobe!!!! She's a clothes horse and so many lovely clothes...but shhh don't tell her!!!0
