I just need someone constantly reminding me I can do this! I have done it but lost focus! I lost 4 stone and have gained back two. It's depressing. I catch my reflection and I shudder. It's never enough though to keep me motivated I just need that person/s who say hey don't give in! Keep going! Or just a few words of comfort. Or just ask how's u how's it going? It's support that gets you through the dark times. So let's do this!!

I'm in the same boat. If you want to add me then we could support each other! It's tough, but we can do it! :)

Lorna & Suzy - I'm right there with you and looking for commenters that can keep me motivated & connected with mfp. Look for a friend request from me, too

I have been exactly where you are. I hate to see myself in photos or see a full length mirror. I would get started and loose a few pounds but then fall off after a few days. I am determined this time to really keep going and think I have found something that's going to work for me this time. If you want to add me we can keep each other motivated.

You can do this ladies. We all need encouragement and support that why a two way friendship on here is so vital. You have to keep at it everyday, if you fall one day don't make that a bad week or a bad month. Just get up dust yourself off and back to it. Good luck I'm sure you can find the strength.

Hi, I'm battling to lose weight as I'm Type 2 diabetic. The battle has been going on for quite a few years because I have an underactive thyroid so complicating weight loss. Also I have COPD and have approximately 25% of lung capacity remaining so making intensive training almost non existent and I also am lower limb disabled after a car crash. All these are just excuses tho' and I will get weight down with my faith to carry me onward. The key to success is a positive mental attitude since every setback creates new opportunities. Never give up . If you want to link up, contact me and I will send out an invite.

Similar here. Physical limitations prevents exercise. I lost 25 pounds in 2 months and then got sick and gained it all back over the last 3 months. I can't stand to see myself in the mirror. I have a positive attitude and I'm sure we can do this. I have finally realized there is no quick fix and this will be a lifetime of better choices.
