I take tennis lessons every summer. There are poeple there of all shapes and sizes (and skill level) , so no need to be nervous. Go for it, it sounds like fun!0

I play co-ed Softball and Volleyball - Love it!!0 -
I have played baseball / softball my whole life, and now (in my old age) I play in two rec leagues. 1 is coed and 1 is women's league. It is a great workout! I make it a point to jog on and off the field every time. Just go have fun! That's the point right? : ) You get a bonus calorie burn out of a great time - and who knows - you may make some new friends along the way! Sounds like a win / win to me!0

I'm on a bar league volleyball team and I love it. I get in about a 20-30 min workout that doesn't feel like a workout! I'd say go for it! celebrate your body, it can do amazing things!0

I should have said to that you should go for it - there is a nice little sense of camaraderie. For me, it's a nice way to get out, get a break from the kids and talk to adults.
I wouldn't say it's a ton of exercise though, but still super fun.0 -

I want to start playing Netball again. But I am in the same boat, I think I'm still a bit heavy and will feel like I'm not doing them any favours. Maybe when I lose some more lbs it will be a goal to look forward to!!!0
