WW and "Flex" Points

Hi all,
I came to MFP from Weight Watchers, and while I like WW I wanted more specific information about what I was eating.
One thing I miss about WW is that you get a set amount of 49 "Flex" Points to eat during the week however you want. Is there any way to work this out using calories only? For example, say you are going to a party on Saturday and want to splurge a little bit, because you've been exercising all week and clocking in at a little under your calorie goal every day. Would it be ok to go over your calories a little bit? Does anyone else "bank" their unused calories during the week, or do you have to earn them that day and THAT day only?
I know everyone does it a little bit differently, so I'm just curious. I really want to make this plan liveable for me. Thanks in advance for your help!

Why don't you just allow yourself a certain amount of "bank" calories each week. If you eat those and you see you dont lose then lower the number a little.0

I hear ya. I miss the "flex" Points, too.
I'm still struggling with the loss of them since making the switch from WW to MFP, honestly.
I know for a fact that I'm eating much less on MFP than I was on WW. My losses had stalled on WW, and now I'm losing my pound a week again (that's been my goal from the beginning).
I have not been rolling over my calories on MFP, because that's not part of the MFP plan. I have considered "banking" 50 or so exercise calories each day to be used on my day of rest each week, because I really struggle eating only 1310 calories on my DOR.1 -
As someone who followed WW for over 6 years and lost weight there (trying to relose some regained weight here), the one thing I sometimes miss about WW is the flex points or "weekly allowance points". I am adjusting to not having them slowly and am doing better with losses than I was on WW ( I was stalling when trying to relose on the pointsplus plan).0
