Obesity: the Post Mortem

Watched this programme on TV yesterday and if there was ever a reason to motivate you then this is it. First time ever in UK a post mortem has been shown on TV. It's a documentary investigating the dangers of fat to the human body by following a pathology team as they conduct a post-mortem on a woman whose body was donated to medical science.
Worth viewing.

Poo! It only works if you're in the UK and I'm in the US.
Sounds interesting though!
Found it on YouTube!1 -

Fascinating!

Edit: Despite the header alluding to its graphic nature, my attached article above@pics and the attached video documentary@youtube maybe extremely graphic in nature for some.

that was fascinating,thank you.1

Really, people probably need to see more stuff like this. It's easy to ignore reality when you've never had to look at it's face.4

Definitely worth watching!0

Well, I am awake now. In more than one way. This is really hitting home with my own obesity. I might have waited to at least finish my coffee.1

I think it hit home for many. Quite a few of my friends have said it has made them think differently about a few things.0

It really is an eye opener. Especially to those who weigh the same or more than her with similar height etc! *Steps away from the chocolate*0

I watched it and I'm freaked out because I carry all my weight in my abdominal area. I'm 5'2", down to 156 lbs from 204. I felt good about my progress but I still carry my extra weight in my abdomen. Granted, I have less of it now but still too much. Eek!0

I watched this entire video! Eye-opener, for sure. I'm especially intrigued by the thinness of the wall of that ventricle in the heart. (I'm a nurse and see heart failure in full swing multiple times a day). When people with this disease code (I.E. heart stops beating for any reason) we never get them back alive; their heart is so weak that it just can't recover.8

can you post the US link?0
