saggy fats

Hi myfitnesspal community. So here's my story
I was 130kg before like 3years ago. That was my heaviest weight. So I decided to go for a diet. No exercise because I was too lazy. Now I am at 100kg. In that 3years I lose and gain weight several times. Now I am smaller in size but I am still fat. I got saggy fats everywhere. I think my body fat percentage is 30-40%. I am also weak, I cant do a single knee push up. I don't know what to do now.

The answer is in your post - your current body composition reflects that you were lazy and didn't exercise.

Start where you are and make small improvements. You have to start somewhere. As you get stronger then gradually increase. Do wall push ups to start. If you start lifting weights you can start changing your shape and help prevent future muscle loss. The saggy skin is a separate issue but concentrate on health and wellness for now.0 -
I'm in the same position and I did exercise for three years. I lost 60kg but I have "fat pockets" that wont go away lol I have no idea what to do about them.3

So do bodyweight exercises at home. I don't go to a gym. I workout at home. I have adjustable dumbbells and use Youtube. I started out really fat. I eat at a deficit and am now a lot less fat. With more commitment and strength training I hope to be not at all fat and improve my body composition.1

you can do floor bodyweight exercises (like pushups) against a wall to build strength until you can do them on the floor - there are lots of workouts on darebee if you need ideas.1

It doesn't have to cost anything. Look on YouTube for "beginner" bodyweight exercises to start out.

What you do matters more than how long. 90 minutes of cardio and overeating will not get you the body you probably want.1 -

I cant argue with your logic. However I do 15 minutes of cardio and the rest is weight training and no monitor my caloric intake religiously.

Look into the book You Are Your Own Gym by Mark Lauren. It does a good job laying things out in a way that allows you to start even as out of shape as you are. As others have said, if you can't do a pushup from your knees, do it against the wall, or with your hands several steps up a flight of stairs and your toes on the floor. It is all about angles. 30-40% body fat is still overfat and an overfat body is most likely going to have saggy fat. That's just how it is. The solution is to lose fat and gain muscle.

So what sort of exercise were you doing for 90 minutes? I am suspecting cardio rather than strength training. Eat more protein and exercise. Keep eating in a caloric deficit to lose the rest of your excess fat. Stop being lazy.1

You've lost 60 kilos--that's alot, congrats. Fat pockets will depend on alot of things such as: age, dna, time.... Losing alot means you've got to be patient, after a few years I'd re-evaluate, and you might have to consider surgery if it's still bad. Alot of people talk about this problem. Do a search and you'll get more information.0 -

ThanksI was exploring surgery but it is way too expensive.

You have your own bodyweight, there's loads of bodyweight routines available for free on the internet.

I know it's expensive, and you may not need it. I'd console patience for now, and then decide in a couple of years. Keep up your lifting. Do a search and you may get some ideas.0 -

That would be because you are still dancing between the overweight and obese line. Being lighter than what you were doesn't make you perfect, it just makes you healthier than what you were. If you want the fat gone, you're going to have to lose a bit more and exercise. Laziness does not reap rewards. Toned bodies come to those who work for them.
The reason you can't do a single pushup is because you aren't trying to GET to the point where you're able to. I'm classified as obese, had ankle surgery, and spent half a year in a wheelchair and had to learn to walk again like a damned baby and I got to the point where I can do it. Stop making excuses and TRY.1 -
Some people have said the fat gets soft and then does get flatter over time. See what happens as you start working out.1

Try "Convict Conditioning" by Paul Wade. No gym membership, no special equipment required. You'll need a chair and/or bench but you likely have something suitable in your home already. He is very focused on a slow introduction to exercise to promote proper form and posture with a gradual, sustainable increase in activity and fitness. I think you can even find a downloadable PDF if you're too broke to buy the book. Good luck!1
