Watched this programme on TV yesterday and if there was ever a reason to motivate you then this is it. First time ever in UK a post mortem has been shown on TV. It's a documentary investigating the dangers of fat to the human body by following a pathology team as they conduct a post-mortem on a woman whose body was donated to medical science.

Worth viewing.

Poo! It only works if you're in the UK and I'm in the US. :(
    Sounds interesting though!

Really amazing to watch. The body was that of an american woman in her 60s who was overweight and died from heart failure.

Really, people probably need to see more stuff like this. It's easy to ignore reality when you've never had to look at it's face.

Well, I am awake now. In more than one way. This is really hitting home with my own obesity. I might have waited to at least finish my coffee.

I think it hit home for many. Quite a few of my friends have said it has made them think differently about a few things.

It really is an eye opener. Especially to those who weigh the same or more than her with similar height etc! *Steps away from the chocolate*

I watched it and I'm freaked out because I carry all my weight in my abdominal area. I'm 5'2", down to 156 lbs from 204. I felt good about my progress but I still carry my extra weight in my abdomen. Granted, I have less of it now but still too much. Eek!
