We did it! I'm still going!

We got married sat 29th October and I lost 3 stone in 11 weeks to get into my dress.
The happiest day of my life!
Thanks to everyone here for your help and support (I asked a lot of questions lol)
I'm still loosing weight (another 3 stone to go) but I'm taking it slowly.
3 stone in 11 weeks is not healthy! But it needed to be done in this case.

I'm looking to go on a balanced diet (I was LCHF before)
What's the best level to set my macros please? Looking to loose 1-2lb a week and be a bit slimmer for our honeymoon in January

    Macro distribution is entirely personal. I eat LCHF, but that's because I feel more satisfied with fat in my meals than carbs. You may feel different.

    Input your stats into MFP under goals and tell it that you want to lose 1lb a week. It will give you a calorie goal but macro distribution is entirely up to you.

    I can't help you with macros I'm only 4 months into it but whats working for me, keeping me satisfied is about 40 carbs 30 protein 30 fat. I'm set to lose 2 lbs a week (aggressive) and it seems to be working really well.

    There is more to learn and I'm sure I will on these forums.

    Love love love your dress!

    I didn't track macros at all during my weight loss phase (still don't in maintenance either). I only focused on calories and had no problem losing 50lbs this way. Weight loss is about calories :)

    I do low carb, but only because I'm diabetic. I can eat a ton of broccoli and cauliflower before I reach the carbs in a medium french fry from McDonalds's!

    I hit a plateau before the wedding (only lost 1lb in three weeks) so that's why I'm looking at changing my diet. I managed to lose 1lb this week even though I've had a big week (lots of prosecco and naughty foods) so I'm guessing that eating carbs is helping me at the moment. Once I plateau again I'll go back to the LCHF diet.
    At least this is what I'm hoping lol
