Help! I'm gaining weight

A little while ago I was in a massive stint of calorie deficit and I looked amazing and felt great. However, I found that it wasn't sustainable to limit myself of everything. Now I've increased my food and feeling stronger, but I look way chunkier and I feel like nothing fits and that I will be "that girl who put all the weight back on". I'm embarrassed to be the way I am right now and it's too tempting to just go back to the unhealthy way I was. I need a little inspiration because I've never felt more down about my weight. It feel like all my goals have gone out he window and it's not worth it to keep trying. I can't tell whether it's muscle or body shape changes but I have filled out a lot. Does anyone have any words of wisdom?

Are you lifting weights? You can have some extra weight on you but still look athletic and strong. It sounds like you're dealing with a body composition issue. I would keep throwing weights around in the gym... or start if you haven't already.

Maybe you should stop going on a 'diet', and start thinking of it as your new eating regime. You have to get your head in the right place. Mentally 'start again'. Remember when you were at your slimmest. Find a thin photo and put it on the fridge. Maybe you could try Low Carb High Fat. It's filling and satisfying. You won't crave sugar. You can do it.

@ClubSilencio thanks for your reply. Yes I am, I'm doing 4-5 weight classes a week so I feel strong but I must be putting on fat too. I'm also doing some form of cardio on the other days. My diet at the moment is low carb and a moderate amount of fat. Could I be doing something wrong?
