How do you get membership?

I've noticed nearly everyone here has the word "member" next to their name in the forums ... How do you get to be a member?

    Anyone who's not a moderator or staff member should have the Member title next to their name. It's weird that you don't.

    You're a member of MFP's website, so your title is Member.

    @Elise4270, premium subscribers will have Premium listed as well.

    Huh, yeah when I look at this thread on the app, diannethegeek, me and Malibu927 have it, and Elise4270 and pinkste78 don't. Weird.

    @Alex - I'm on Internet Explorer at work. The app is also whacky, as I said above - some people have "Member after their name and others don't

    @Elise4270 Would you tell me where you are seeing the premium label? It sounds like you are viewing from the apps and I wanted to track that down as our intention is to have the member label for premium members too (not a premium label).

    ALL of us have the word "member" or "moderator" after our names, even if you/we
    can't always see it.

    I'm not seeing a premium label. I believe it was @malibu927 that said there was one. I did assume the absence of the member designation was a premium thing.

    I'm on the app, I believe everyone else is seeing something on the full site.

    This is what I thought was referenced the "Member", MFP moderator, or the absence of any designation.

    I see everyone's member status on my computer, but Elise and Pinkste don't have a status on my phone. Android, using Opera browser.

    I see the member/moderator labels when using chrome and selecting "request desktop site" while on my phone.

    Mobile access through app or browser though has some users missing the label.

    @Alex you're aware that we can still see who is a premium member by hovering over the word Member on the web version though, aren't you? A little label pops up that says Premium.

    Thanks for checking. Yes, that I know about the hover but we still want the main label to be Member and not Premium.
