Looking for fellow open heart surgery survivors

Howdy! Full details are in my profile, but the gist is that I'm trying to reclaim my once-active life after emergency open heart surgery in September 2015. I had been very successful on MFP before, but found it too demoralizing to return to my old account once (1) I gained weight post surgery when I had to stay pretty sedentary in order to heal and (2) my cardiologist said no more heavy lifting, my all-time favorite exercise. Most of my MFP pals were heavy weightlifters, so today I finally bit the bullet, deleted my old account, and started this one. If you're a fellow OHS survivor who understands the challenges of trying to get back to your pre-surgery health levels, please send me a friend request and let's support each other!
