Isn't being 100 lbs overweight motivation? It's bad for your health. It makes it more difficult to do every-day tasks and activities. You'll probably like the way you look better if you lose the weight. Sadly, some people will treat you better if you're not overweight, including employers and potential employers.6

You just need a sustained calorie deficit.1

Take a look at my profile pic. There's around 70lb difference in weight there, although I refused to have my photo taken at the highest weight of 289.5lb. Although I've still got 30-50lb to go, I've dropped just over 100lb in the last year and feel so much better for it. I have more energy, less pain and fewer health issues.2

-Just take it one day at a time, and reach out for help whenever you feel like you can't do it-
-Look for success stories here as inspiration,
-Find someone in your everyday life who can encourage you and share in your goals.
-Set small goals- instead of 100, think about it as a series of 10 lbs at a time, and each time celebrate by doing something nice for yourself that's not food related.
-Feel proud that you're reaching out and taking steps to learn a different way of living!2 -
If right now we could show you some pictures of you after losing those 100 lbs, you would do it without hesitation. But sadly, we can't. So you have to trust us on this one: it's 100% worth it.
Install MyFitnessPal or a similar app, set a reasonable and sustainable weight-loss goal per week, and start logging everything. Everything! What you eat, what you drink (yes, what you drink too!), what you do.
Start small. Log everything for 30 days straight, no pause. Don't stop at 10 days or less. It will then become a habit and it will be surprisingly easy. Not at first, but after a couple of weeks you will do it without thinking.1 -
I've lost 80lbs in my life using MFP... it was hard at first but once you make MFP apart of your everyday life it becomes fun and easy. Start using MFP like it's facebook, use it EVERYDAY, make friends here, preplan all your meals and if you want to eat something different, check the calories here first and then add it to your diary.
Before you know it, you'll be joining groups with group goals and all your MFP friends over time will know you just like your IRL friends on FB but your MFP friends will want to support you and hear all your wins and loses and they will want to be apart of your fitness journey.
I have about 100lbs to go and I've been away from MFP for a good year+ so i need to get my butt into gear again. You're welcome to add me for support as i believe it's a great motivator to have people help support you
All the best, This is the beginning of a better life for you.

Only YOU can provide the motivation to lose the weight. Luckily it is easy, just eat within your daily calorie goal.
Look to others for inspiration, look within for motivation.0 -
