How do I acuratly calorie count what I make

When I cook i tend to make everything from scratch, like tonight - I made a homemade bolognaise. any ideas of how i actually calorie count this or do i have to do what I did this evening and literally break it down into its individual ingredients and then guess what i ate. So far only 2 days in im not getting the hang of this. suggestions please.:frown:
