March 15th, I started a program called Y-Be-Fit at my alma mater. they took a bunch of measurements, then i had 3 months of coaching to get healthy. Here's my before and after Y-Be-Fit stats.
Weight: 222 lbs--> 195.5 lbs.
BMI: 33.8 --> 30.6
Body Fat %age: 51.2% --> 44.6%
Fat Weight: 114 lbs --> 87.3 lbs
Fat Free/Lean Body Mass: 108 lbs -->108.2lbs
VO2 MAX: 31.04ml/kg/min --> 34.63ml/kg/min
Bench Press/Upper Body Strength: 60 lbs (27%) --> 84 lbs (43%)
Leg Press/Lower Body Strength: 180 lbs (91%) --> 270 lbs (138%)
Blood Pressure: 110/70 --> 108/70
Core Strength: 10/12 --> 12/12
Flexibility: 27(*error)inches --> 23.5 inches
Waist:Hip Ratio: 38.75:53 (.73) --> 33.5:49 (.68)
I think I'm most proud of maintaining my lean body mass while losing so much fat mass. And the increase in VO2 MAX is awesome. And my leg press impressed me! the flexibility thing was weird; they made em do it differently each time, but my numbers are still in the "excellent" category, so I'm happy with that!
This is what 4 months of hard work, lots of sweat and motivation can do!

That's great! I had a fitness evaluation at my school (The University of Akron) as well, but they didn't go nearly as in-depth as yours! Where do you go? I'm waiting till I get another free eval, then I may do a post like yours! Congrats again!0

i had it done at brigham young university. they have a fitness office that offers the service to students (and spouses) and faculty at a very discounted rate year round. i graduated form there a little over a year ago, but took advantage of it since my husband is still a student. :-)0
