Using exercise to have a more successful life. We all want success and we all have goals that’s why we’re here. I am starting to see exercise as a way to strengthen the mind. I think the most powerful part of our mind is “focus and concentration” if we can focus on something unobstructed and work on it, we will more than likely see it. What prevents us from not achieving our goals? I believe it’s a lack of focus. Positive focus/intent and action is what brings success. The book “Flow” is about optimal experience, it talks about “being one with what you’re doing.” All of us have been in a state of flow of heightens perception and effortless execution. Some call this the zen state, the zone, etc. This is maximum focus and concentration, if you can focus that intensely there will be no distraction, the only thing that would exist is your own existence. WE can use exercise to achieve this, if we completely focus on what we’re doing, I guess you can call this “meditate on exercise” If you use all the power of your mind you will be able to run farther, faster, and do more reps, with less perceived stress. This is the training of focus and concentration. Once you’re very good at focus and concentration, you can achieve anything in life you want. Exercise is the key, the gateway, it trains you how to push beyond your comfort zone, when the going gets tough in real life, you can push past those points and achieve your goals.
