I don't want to be rude but did you really think you'd see a difference in two weeks and eight pounds?

Unrealistic expectations are prevalent when it comes to weight loss- all those "get thin fast" and "drop 20 pounds in a week" claims and fake before & after photos... the weight loss industry is mostly to blame. They wouldn't sell much if they said "lose 50 pounds in a year MINIMUM (maybe 2) with good old fashioned diet and exercise". Lol

To be fair I saw a pretty noticeable difference with just 6 pounds of weight loss (now 8) in progress photos I posted recently but that's because it was mostly all fat loss (not much water or muscle loss) and I'm short too so every pound is a lot more noticeable. But it took 2 months of almost perfectly hitting my macros and calories and working out regularly with weights and hiit. 2 weeks is a little too soon to expect to see much change besides on the scale and maybe clothes fitting better.

My legs were the last place to see fat go, and I have to tell you the truth -- I am dieting down to be very thin for my height (I have health reasons for this). It has taken getting to the lower end of a healthy BMI range for them to thin out.

Weight lifting will not make your legs bulky. I will also have to give a shout for running. I think that has helped my legs tremendously. I'm still not entirely happy with them, but they are the thinnest they've ever been in my adult life.

    Keep eating in a deficit.
    keep exercising.
START lifting weights now. It will not make you bulky. Skinny legs with no muscle are not what you want. Lean, toned, defined legs come with weight training and lower bodyfat. You'll get there but give it time.

Ye doing cardio and the odd body pump but I worry I will bulk doing weights

Women do not bulk as easy as you think... It's hard enough for men to bulk let alone women. Any volume in muscles after beginning a weights program is most likely waster retained in the muscle making it appear bigger.

And yeah, 3 weeks and 8lbs is hardly going to make a difference. My legs started getting thinner after about losing about 70lbs. How much weight have you got until goal?

First week of weight loss will be about 50% water. And it's only been 2 weeks. Relax and be consistent for 3 months and then check back.
