My addiction is a sedentary lifestyle. I tend to stay comfortable and with that, it's caused me to balloon up. Growing up, I wasn't super active, but I did go out and play. I rode bikes with my brother around the neighborhood. I loved it! Was a sense of freedom. I was still a big kid, was chubby most of my life. I remember crying to my mom when I got stretched marks. When my mom died, I lost a sense of who I was. She died 11 years ago on 11/25/05. My weight when she died was close to 300 pounds and i was in 8th grade. Throughout high school my weight was 300-375 pounds. After high school thats when it really shot up. I was over 400 pounds. Then when I moved up north to be with my aunt for a bit, we did a low carb thing. Walked daily, went to the gym and did the elliptical, after a bit it was a habit. I lost about 50 pounds during that 3 months. I moved back cause at the time, it was crazy for us. I then gained that weight back plus some. I went through a period where I was ok with being a bigger person and even embraced it. I became a model for chasers and did some amatuer stuff. Now I feel like I'm going to let them down (i literally do have fans) but they want me to become bigger and eventually immobile. I don't want that. I want to become slimmer. My problem is I'm too much in my sedentary ways and don't have enough motivation to keep up. I desire to be slimmer to fit in regular clothes. I want to be able to fit behind the wheel of a car. I want to take back my life. I am going to be starting a Keto lifestyle cause it seems like it will be best for my body. I'd love to make new friends to help me through this and keep me motivated. I'd like to get down to 350. That's probably about 200 pounds less than I am now. IF anyone else who was as big as I am or was, please share your story. I'd love to hear it.

My high weight was 320. I've gone from 285 to 170ish in the last 20 months without exercise. Sedentary people can lose weight too. It's good to get exercise but you can still lose weight without it.
As for food, I eat basically what I ate before but in smaller portions or with satisfying substitutions. It's easier to stick with an eating plan that's as close to your normal eating plan as possible.
My suggestion is that you log what you eat and drink for a couple of weeks without making any changes. You can then look back and see where you might eat smaller portions or swap a calorie-dense food that you like with a less calorie-dense food that you also like.
Don't make changes that you won't be comfortable doing forever. Don't try to change many things at once. Baby steps will get you there.0
